Looks like Saudi Arabia are the only bidders

Money talks ,Fifa have sold out stating only Asia or Australia bids would be accepted .With Aus not interested it was an open goal for the Saudis

Another winter tournament with 2/3 seasons disrupted to satisfy Saudi sports washing .

Thoughts ?

And we still need a striker

I thought the Qatar world cup was a fantastic success and by far my favorite world cup I have watched. If it is anything to go by the Saudi one will be just as good.

Presumably the other countries willing or able to spend the money involved have other priorities.
They obviously don't expect Just Stop Oil to have affected their income too much by then and Jordan Henderson will only be 44 and collecting his 250th cap by then.

This'll teach all those who demanded that the whole system needed a sheikh-up.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Excellent!

Inevitable, but nothing for anyone to lose their head over...

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Maybe nobody is bothered about having another disrupted season or two ? Hope they at least get it right this time and have it in January /February as opposed to before Crimbo

They'll probably hold it in their summer when it's about 110 degrees.

I'm certainly not bothered, mainly because it's unlikely I'll still be around to see it, but if by some miracle I am, I'll be too gaga to care anyway.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.
