Unavailable team:

Johnstone

Ferguson Holding -- Mitchell

Doucoure Lerma

Rak-Sakyi Eze Ayew

Edouard

With Henderson not making the injured XI

Pop one of Guehi or Andersen into the gap and there's no way that team doesn't beat any remaining combination of available players. 7 of them are first choice!

26th January 2010 - Enter Administration
2nd May 2010 - D-Day 1 - Survival at Hillsborough
1st June 2010 - D-Day 2 - Survival at Lloyds
7th June 2010 - CPFC2010 exchange contracts.

Lerma and Mitchell may be available after all. However, Roy may not use them to make a point about squad deficiencies. Apparently he has asked Parish for a left back and another midfielder! Roy. Don’t you mean a right back and forward?

Pepe won't risk Haaland against us, why should he I still expect them to win comfortably. We will put a a good show but no real attacking chances.

Oh dear! The referee is from Greater Manchester. His previous matches have very much favoured us but they have mainly been against lower or southern teams. He will now be refereeing ‘at home’.

Because Edouard might catch him in the chase for the golden boot?

Judging be the press conference the team will be

Matthews
Ward
Anderson
Guehi
Mitchell
Richards
Hughes
Riedewald or Ahamada
Olise
Mateta
Schlupp

That is a team that would struggle to stay in the Premier League let alone win v Mac City.
2-0 if they take mercy on us.

My understanding as well. Also in Roy's presser, he said he'd heard that there will be 4 academy players on the bench(?), he went on to say, that it is unfair to throw them on in the hope of getting a win/moving up the table.

So, with who we have fit from the 'older' players, its "same old, same old".

Yes,a good performance with the now familiar outcome:
Defeat and no points.

So far as I can tell 10 players will start:

Remi, Ward, Andersen, Guehi, Mitchell
Hughes Richards
Schlupp Olise
JPM

So the only real question is who does Roy go with for that 11th spot? My guess is Ahamada simply by virtue of him playing off the bench, whereas Jairo has barely stepped foot on the pitch despite being fit. Ozoh might come off the bench again, but I can't see him starting. The only other option is for Franca to start, but that seems highly improbable given Roy has seemingly decided he's not ready yet.

So Man City might be without Haaland. I suppose they'll have to make do with an £80-million World Cup winning striker to fill in. And no Doku? My god, they'll have to make do with Grealish! Poor babies.
