Hopkin's winner at Wembley definetely qualifies as my most celebrated Palace goal. I was there at the age 0f 13 with my dad and as Hopkin prepared to curl it in, i thought "That's not going in...." 1 second later and.....

GOAL! I was jumping for sheer unbridled joy amidst a sea of red and blue, what a memory it was

But the best Palace goal goes to Ian Wright with his lob from the halfway line against Wimbledon during the 1990/91 season

"Look at that. Accident blackspot? These aren't accidents! They're throwing themselves into the road gladly! Throwing themselves into the road to escape all this hideousness!"

The one i have celebrated the most has to be Powells at Sunderland in the play offs. Living up norf I have alot of friends and family who i wanted to get one over especially as it was a play off game. after Gray was sent off i thought we where dead and buried! So although not the more skillfull goal as he took half the sunderland team in the net with him and the ball it is definitely my favourite!

What a moment that was I was in the upper holmesdale with 3,000 other palace fans watching the game on the big sccreen and we all thought we were out it was out of this world when that hit the back of the net with people hugging complete strangers. Also rembember that Shipps pushed over Poom before we scored haha

far too many to mention, but I'll mention a few anyway just off the top of my head.....

1)Billy Gilbert-long range effort V the spammers,75 yards out,but thats only because It gains 5 yards every time I tell it.

2)Ian Wright-lob on the turn from just inside the half way line against wimbledon at plough lane.

3)Geoff Thomas-free kick against saints at the whitehorse end

4)stan staunton-a curling lob from out on the touchline v tranmere

5)Carl Fletcher-this is out of respect for a player who I think we should have kept and It sticks in my mind, his net buster v hull a couple of seasons back.

6)Ian Wright-we beat plymouth 5-1 and I seem to remember him turning 4 or 5 players inside out before slotting the ball home up the whitehorse end.

that'll do for now.

here are three:

How about Dougie's volley in the play-off semi v. Wolves & last season also v. Wolves Scowie's long range volley!

Paddy's long range screamer v. Derby was special too!

All quality goals, but Dougie's easily wins it cos of the the importance of the match.

As for Hopkin's in '97 that was like being taken to heaven!!!!!! :

I'm sure all of those who were at the game would agree.

When i get the video i'll post it up!

Beat a couple of men, then unleashed a bullet from 25 yards. Nearlt took jcreedy's head clean off.

At the Holmesdale end too.
