By Car

From North/South/West:
Leave the M6 at Junction 15 and take the second exit (straight on) at the first roundabout onto the A500. Exit the A500 at the second slip road and then keep in the right lane for the A50. At the roundabout take the second exit (right) to join the A50 (the Britannia Stadium is signposted and visible on the sky-line to the right).

Once on the A50 take the first exit and head up the bank towards the traffic lights. Turn right at the traffic lights and head over the fly-over. Take the third exit (right) at the first roundabout, the first (left) at the second and the third (right) at the third to reach the stadium.

From East:
Take the A50 all the way to Stoke-on-Trent. Take the last turn off on the A50 with the stadium to the left. Go straight on at the first roundabout and right at the second to reach the stadium.

Parking
You can park up at the stadium if you are lucky enough to have a ticket. Otherwise, options on Sir Stanley Matthews Way are the Power League, the Screwfix or Trent Car Park (opposite Pets at Home). There's Longton Rugby Club, on Eastern Rise or one of the many commercial units near by. Be wary of parking on the wasteland by the ground as you are liable for a ticket.

By Train

Nearest Station
Stoke – around two miles from the stadium. If you don't fancy the 30 minute walk, then jump in a cab or a shuttle bus from Glebe Street to the ground.

Where to Eat?

The usual pies, hotdogs, chips, sausage rolls etc are for sale in the ground.

Where to Drink?

The Holiday Inn and Harvester pub next to the stadium serves alcohol, while down Sir Stanley Matthews Way you can grab a pint at Longton Rugby Club. The ground serves beer too if you get thirsty.

What's their ground like?

Stoke moved to their custom built stadium in 1997 and it's pretty impressive. It's a slightly unusual design in that two stands are joined together and the others are free standing with three corners left open. The larger one has two decks with executive boxes in the middle and at the back.

Palace fans will share the South Stand behind the goal with home fans with an allocation of up to 2,800. The stand is steep which makes for a good view of the action. The concourses offer a decent selection of food and beers.

What do they sing?

A rousing rendition of the Tom Jones classic Delilah is sung loudest by the Stokies.

Songs to sing back

Freeeeeeeeaaaakkkkkk!!! to Peter Crouch.

Who do they hate?

Mainly Port Vale but also Crewe Alexandra.
