Team news

Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock is likely to stick with the same team that beat Watford 3-0 last weekend.

Paddy McCarthy is out after undergoing surgery on his shoulder injury, so Claude Davis and Jose Fonte will keep their places in defence.

Sean Scannell is a doubt with a hamstring complaint and Lee Hills is suspended after getting sent off while on loan at Oldham.

Doncaster keeper Neil Sullivan hopes to have recovered from a dead leg to play. Adam Lockwood (foot) and Byron Webster (elbow) may start after recovering from injury.

Quotes

John Oster

"We watched a video this morning and know what Palace are all about. They're a team who like to get the ball forward quickly and play on the second ball. It's going to be difficult and physical; we just need to use the ball wisely when we get it. It's going to be aerial bombardment from start to finish.

"Darren Ambrose is in a rich vein of form. He's scored something like 12 goals for them this season already, and he's flying. Alan Lee is also always dangerous in the air. He's big up front, and hard to deal with on his day."

Neil Danns

"We were massive underdogs - at the start of the season a lot of bookies had us down for relegation.

"But we always knew we had the talent and know we can give anyone a game. We have beaten two of the top six and drawn with another two.

"We aren't conceding many goals and we scored three last Saturday, so we feel optimistic. We want people to keep billing us as underdogs because Burnley were [underdogs] last season and look what they achieved."
