Quotes

Roy Hodgson

"We're harder to beat, so I expect a different outcome and performance to when we played at the beginning of the season. These guys right now have got a good bit of momentum, the fans have been nothing short of extraordinary at Selhurst Park and it's relly helping us get these crucial wins against teams round about us. I think we're all pulling together now.

"Individually they are talented, one or two have played in the Premier League and one or two who probably should be playing in the Premier League. It will be a very difficult game, they've got a certain style they stick to, which is probably more successful at home.

"We will be on our guard from the word go and we'll be up for a battle. It will be a difficult game, but it's one the players are looking forward to, especially in front of the Palace crowd."

Brian McDermott

"Palace are in a similar position that we were in last season. Their home results are suggesting they are getting themselves out of trouble and it is difficult to beat them as they are not conceding goals. So we are well aware of what we have got to come up against tomorrow."
