Team news

Crystal Palace new signing Kemy Agustien goes into the squad for QPR after completing his loan move from Swansea City. Alex Marrow hopes to return after recovering from an ankle injury.

QPR centre half Dan Shittu is suspended after being sent off in the midweek defeat against Millwall. Former Palace defender Fitz Hall is a doubt for Neil Warnock's side due to a hamstring problem.

Quotes

Roy Hodgson

"We hope to have Kemy Agustien available for tomorrow's match at Queens Park Rangers. His move should have been wrapped up earlier this week but it's been held up by paperwork at the FA. That's an after-effect of administration I'm afraid and every single move we do has to be ratified to check our books are balanced correctly.

"All being well though he will be available and he will add something a little different to the midfield. He's a talented player, comfortable in possession and has a touch of quality to his game.

"For now though it's on to QPR. Games don't get anymore difficult than this in the Championship, but there is no pressure on us. No one will give us a chance of victory and they're probably right.

"But, in football you just never know and if Neil Warnock's team want to win the game they'll have to work damn hard for it."

Paddy McCarthy

"We are conscious of our away record, it's not been good enough this year. But I think we showed on Saturday against a very strong Burnley outfit that we are heading in the right direction, I thought we more than matched them and could have come away with something. We are confident with the squad we have at the moment and think we can go places like QPR and get results.

"I can't wait for it. I thought we were unlucky to come out on the wrong side of a 2-1 result at Selhurst earlier in the season and we will go there with no fear.

"We have got a fantastic bunch of lads who are fighting for their lives in this division and you cannot ask anymore than that and there is no better place to end that run.

"The gaffer has been fantastic setting out game plans to get us results from matches so far and I am sure it will be no different on Saturday."

Shaun Derry

"It's not just QPR versus Crystal Palace. It's a Palace manager who played under Neil Warnock, whose whole coaching team have pretty much come from there. Saturday has got so many things going for it and that makes it exciting.

"I couldn't call what is going to happen, you never can in this division, but that is even more so the case this time. We're still taking nothing for granted. There are sides capable of going on fantastic runs and it's so important we don't get carried away, because it would be tragic for us to lose our lead now.

"Palace has been a club where there has been a lot of transition forced upon them in the last two years. I still feel they are finding their feet, even now. It will be tight and go down to the wire again for their fans and the players.

"But they've got the talent and ability and have the experience that's required. The backbone of the side, people like Julian Speroni and Paddy McCarthy, them boys are going to have to pull it together."
