Well, for me that was the best performance for a long long time. We finally performed for 2 halves, created and every single player worked his nuts off. The only downside was defending corners but feck it. Great result great performance. I must admit though when Edouard came on I thought his work rate might blow it for us but fortunately we got away with it even though he put zero effort in yet again. The quicker we can get rid of him the happier I'll be, appalling player and work ethic.

Apart from the time added on I thought he gave us absolutely everything. He's usually dead against us.

OMG…..what a game!
We deserved to win…great energy up front. Couldn’t see why Zaha was upset, but I think he was upset at being substituted. Think the atmosphere was even better than the Leicester game.

BUZZING

Wilf is a very difficult character. He loves playing and he loves Palace. He was so angry he forgot he has a bad knock and was limping. That's Wilf for you! But he came back, played from the start and scored a goal.

The only ploy WHU had was to pack the penalty area at corners, get knock ins and profit from the chaos. It nearly worked for them. I do hope=they're relegated

I agree. It always seems to be a knee-jerk reaction by fans of a team to feel the refereee was against them, but he was quite fair. Could have carded Anderson for his silly wrestle with Antonio but didn't.

I thought Schlupp was very composed. Passing has improved enormously. His sharpness in front of goal is starting to make him look like a number 9.

Another early goal for the opposition. There goes Roy's Plan A. "Keep it tight lads, 0-0 at half time is a result". Let's see if there's a Plan B.

You are clearly out of touch with Roy's tactics with the current squad. Your animosity against him is embarrassing.

I'd like Guaita back for the next game. He may not be the most assertive at crosses but Johnstone was literally a yard behind the goal line for their third when he should have been attempting to punch the ball out

Have to agree. Thought Pawson was pretty ok today and he gave us that soft penalty. AS to the extra time in extra time, that was because of the injury to the Spammer plus our bringing on Luka and the VAR check re the kick out on Edouard when the ball went out.

I’ve watched that again and he makes a step toward the near post then found his route back to the far post blocked. He was never getting anywhere near it.

is Guaita any better? He certainly likes to punch. I’m 50/50 as to who is the better keeper but I think Johnstone has better distribution so I think he edges it. Happy to have either between the sticks to be honest.

For exactly that reason I believe there is no benefit to making a sub in extra time.
