Of course not but I have seen no evidence that we are willing and able to spend. 2 directors who want to sell and Textor who seems to be in a big financial hole.

Guardian reporting that the money is going into the stadium redevelopment so little to spend on transfers. Unless somebody is sold/does not sign a new contract cannot see us spending much this summer and only on replacements, just like last 2 transfer windows.

I may have this wrong(according to some on here i often do), but, i thought that when Blitzer & Harris came onboard, they both invested $/£50m each for the finance of the new stand?

It will be a permanent move, its obligatory

Nice idea but I can't help feeling you're missing a trick or two too: the selling clubs will want/need the money now rather than a year down the line; they'd want more if they were to agree to your plan because neither will have a problem selling now at the relatively low prices you propose; and why would the players agree to such a proposal anyway?

Not so simple I suggest..

Because they would be guaranteed first team football, and the normal procedure is a third up front, about 16.3m, not a fortune, when we sold Wan Bassaka whole we only got 50% then, the balance then the following year

Looking at it, we should be OK this season and pick up points against:

Bournemouth..they lack quality and we have nicked their poty
Brighton..there luck will runout this season and have to play extra games
Burnley..we should nick the points
Everton..A complete shambles so far and will struggle
Fulham..had a season but I think will struggle this one
Luton..6 points in the bag
Forest..we should take 4 points
Sheffield..again 4 points only because it's our first game of the season away
West Ham..we should be good for points
Wolves..very weak this season as they got no monies

Very hard games but we might pick up the odd point

Arsenal..nothing from them
Villa..will be tough but we might sneak a point
Chelsea..again might sneak a point
Liverpool..nothing from them
City..nope
Utd..a point maybe
Newcastle..good for 2 points
Tottenham..good for a point

It's just my opinion

Looking into crystal ball!! We will be in relegation trouble by the time the Xmas decs go up. The Greek pavarotti would have sacked Cooper by then. Parish will then give Roy a Rolex as a pension present and Cooper will be the new manager come 2024.

You heard it here first!!

Hi Sarf, the fixtures are a bit more kindly spread this season. So far we've picked up an excellent midfielder in Lerma, so this will add to the spine of the team. No sign yet of either Anderson or Geuhi moving on, crossed fingers. There's still a long time to go in the window, so hopefully there'll be at least one wingback signed . I don't see us signing Balogun as just too expensive. And if Wilf does move on then we obviously need another wide player. I expect it'll be the usual flurry of activity on the last day of the season.

Brentford?
No Toney til January. Could see them being near the bottom this year.

Would be happy at getting him but certainly not delighted if we paid £50m ( not that we would)
