Todays second download is another set from this years BBC Radio 6Music Festival in Manchester on the 1st March 2014. This is the set by the Bombay Bicycle Club and it's in superb quality with the audio for the set being taken from an FM broadcast of the show. This is not the complete show - 2 tracks are missing as they were not broadcast. I've posted a few boots by Bombay Bicycle Club and this is another top sounding show for the collection. If you downloaded any of the previous boots - grab this one as well... this is great stuff and is thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is a set by Journey that was recorded at the Tower Theatre, Upper Darby, Philadelphia on the 24th March 1978. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from a pre-fm soundboard and it sounds top notch - if a little quiet on the mix. Some classic Journey on this one - starting the show with my favourite Journey track "Of A Lifetime" from the bands first eponymous album. I don't think this is the complete show - rather all that was broadcast, but it is what it is...and it's wicked. If you like Journey then grab this one- this is thoroughly recommended... Todays first download is set by Level 42 that was recorded in Brighton on the 13th October 1994. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've not posted that many boots by Level 42 over the years as good quality ones are quite rare. This is a good one with some of the bands best known tracks - including Lessons In Love and Running In The Family. If you like Level 42 then grab this show - this is thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is a set by Imagine Dragons that was recorded at the Made In America Festival in Philadelphia on the 31st August 2013. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. This is not the complete set - for some reason 1 track has been omitted from the recording. This is still a cracking set with some top tracks including cover versions of tracks by the Cold War Kids and Ben E King. The set ends with the bands biggest hit to date - Radioactive. I posted quite a few shows by the ID last year from the festivals but it seems I omitted this one. If you like Imagine Dragons then grab this one... this is thoroughly recommended... Todays first download is a set by former Grateful Dead keyboards and vocalist Bruce Hornsby that was recorded at the Paramount Arts Center, Ashland, Kentucky on the 26th March 1999. The quality of this show is outstanding - a crystal clear soundboard recording. This is a wicked set with Bruce showing what an excellent keyboards player he is. No two shows are ever the same with Bruce - setlists vary from show to show... something the GD are known for as well. Some great tracks on this one - a wicked version of Traffic's "Low Spark Of High Heeled Boys" as well as his most famous solo track "The Way It Is". This is a great bootleg and I thoroughly recommend this one..... Todays second downlaod is a set by the Atlanta Rhythm Section that was recorded at the Western Carolina University on the 26th October 1979. This is in superb quality and the audio for this show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've not posted that many boots by the ARS over the years as good quality shows are quiite rare. This is a very good one with a top setlist and if you like the Atlanta Rhythm Section - this is thoroughly recommended... and then some! Todays extra download is a set by Queens Of The Stone Age that was recorded at the Bridge School Benefit Concert in Mountain View, CA in 2013. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. I've not posted many shows by QOTSA over the years - just a few according to my files - I don't recall seeing that many in good enough quality. This appears to be a mostly acoustic set - which if you like Queens Of The Stone Age is thoroughly recommended... Todays first download is a set by old slowhand - Eric Clapton that was recorded at the Piazza Napoleone, Lucca, Italy on the 7th July 2006. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and it sounds top notch. This is a wicked boot with a top setlist performed by EC and a top backing band - including an appearance by Robert Cray. Todays second download is a set by Squeeze that was recorded in Boston MA on the 28th March 1980. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show that sounds top notch. This is a cracking set with a wicked tracklisting which includes the bands hits "Pulling Mussels From A Shell", "Take Me I'm Yours" "Up The Junction" and "Cool For Cats". Todays extra download is a set by Lionel Richie that was recorded in Paris, France on the 15th May 2007. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from a DVD audio rip and it sounds wicked. I've not posted many shows by LR as a solo artist but have posted a few when he was with the Commodores. This is a top set which features songs from both his solo and Commodores days. If you like LR - then grab this one... this is thoroughly recommended..
