After recent events this is total disrespect to the armed forces and civilians that lost there lives during WW2, OP u are a absolute Prick for starting this thread, I find it offensive to say the least, I am a ex serviceman and lost friends fighting for this country it was our job we choose to do it to defend OUR country, and arseholes like you make me sick, you don't like it here f*** off your no better than a terrorist in my view, Churchill did what had to be done to stop a madman if he hadn't you would be speaking German and being told how to live your life and have no freedom of choice, I'm sure your grandparents or even parents are really proud of you. Arsehole

Not sure about that. Mute acquiescence or looking the other way (worrying that they'd be next) would be more accurate. Everyone is happy to support the tyrants when its all good and they're doing well out of it. Tyrants need a pretty sizable support. Plenty of Russians and Germans were very happy to go along with the Nazis until it 'soured' on them. Stalin was unusal in his brutality, as it seems to have been an escaltion of the tyranny of Lenin and Trotsky to an almost pathological level that compromised his own self interest.

I can't work out if recent events have lead to some clever trolling, or some people really are stupid. Not pointing fingers at people or sides, because there's people on both sides that are deluded. But, Do you know what Winston Churchill, the man he was, has to do with an off duty soldier being murdered? F*** all. Seriously, the tension around here is hilarious verging on hysteric. That said, that's true for the entire country. Has bright&wright returned or is he still googling the names Jamie mentioned to him?

Granted, but that's what people are making it about, or at least emotion of unrelated events are stiring up all sorts of willy waving. That said, in both cases the facts of the matter are being skewed, and people are using their opinions as none-subjective. Truth is I can't stand the majority of people on the Internet, regardless of common interests, so I have no idea why posted. Same reason we like poking fires I guess. EDIT: When I say I don't like people, I mean purely when it revolves around ideological, religious, theological or political discussions. When I say don't like I mean "lose all faith in humanity".
