Just scrolling through the sky sports transfer centre and there was a paragraph saying Pardew was aiming to make him his first signing....... for 20 bloody million? They must be having a laugh? Pretty sure I read the same article. I think what it said was that Pardew would have a transfer budget of 20mil and that Gomis was his first target. Not that he was going to spend 20 on Gomis.

I have a friend who is a qpr supporter, and he said Gomis was truly woeful yesterday. He said if Bony had played from the start he would have easily snapped up a couple of goals from the chances that Gomis missed.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Bafetimbi Gomis (rumour)' by Moose I've gotta say gomis looked pretty ordinary (on the highlights) against QPR missed quite a few chances and to say he's worth 8 million is crazy for a player that 6 months ago was a free transfer and has barely played since . I'd prefer to see a player come in that is high in confidence playing and scoring how about Murray he looks good lol

Knowing palace we will pay 8m and they will try and send us emnes instead!

Well I'm watching tranmere v Swansea and to be honest I cannot tell the difference between emnes & gomos...but regardless of who is who both have been really poor. Knowing palace we will pay 8m and they will try and send us emnes instead! Agree. Looks anything but the composed striker in front of goal which we need.

Seen next to no work rate either...this was the players chance to show what he can do with bony going away for a month. I've gotta say tho this is the 1st time I've seen him play tho.

After all Newcastle didn't sign him in the summer...and if Newcastle don't sign a Frenchman on a free transfer he can't be very good.
