yes he does look hungry ,bit like ade akinbiy did + 4year contract @ 50k a week please no!!!! coye

Comparing Gomis to Akinbiyi is a little far-fetched. The former has scored goals in France, the latter's value diminished years ago. I'd give Gomis a chance if we break the bank.

With the right support from the wingers, he'll score goals

That might have been sarcasm

I'm with blackgirl3, he looks lumbering and slow, it's no from me.

He hasn't looked great for Swansea but you have to put that down to him making predominantly cameo appearances and having no confidence.

With a long run in our team, he could turn out to be a good signing.

He could be but we need someone to hit the ground running.

Just like Yaya Sanogo, right?

"Look at that. Accident blackspot? These aren't accidents! They're throwing themselves into the road gladly! Throwing themselves into the road to escape all this hideousness!"

I wouldn't mind signing him on loan as a squad player, my choice is Deeney.

if we do get him i really hope i am wrong ,because our options are really limited and that sort of money we have to get it right ,or we will be down ,and it will not be very easy coming back to the top flight ,coye

£7m for a 29 year old striker who has sits on a bench for a team in the middle of the table. Bit steep! The guy may have scored some goals for Loyn but they didn't really have much competition when PSG didnt have money. So you would aspect that from even Clavin Andrews if he was in that team.

My choice would be Cheick Diabaté standing at 6ft 4in the man mountain would be able to hold the line fantastically. He has been likened to Benteke and if we could achieve that, it would be nice.

Lots of goals for a weak Bordeaux and at the age of 26 got plenty of years ahead of him.

Might be a loan deal with option to buy. This would make a lot more sense, in that if he flops at least we havnt shelled out £7m

I like this suggestion a lot, wonder what price they would command for him though.

we can trigger his release clause now for £7m,or loan him till the summer and then they will demand £21m when he has found his shooting boots and scored 18 goals for us.

This guy is everything we currently need , big , strong , fast and has a fantastic goalscoring record 40 goals in 62 stars , cant believe we could attract him to be honest , there must be bigger clubs sniffing round him , another minus is he wont be available in January because of the African cup of nations , we need someone asap.
