I think we will still go for Sanogo as cover but we obviously need a dynamic goalscoring striker, There are always plan Bs and Cs for players, and trying desperately to find a silver lining, Gomis's form hasnt been great, and he's 29. What I want for Christmas is Slimani, ours for £20 mil or so!

I hope he doesn't join us...... I've only seen him on a few occasions as a sub for Swansea, but he didn't impress me at all.

We need someone that is better than Campbell at scoring and hold up play.... this fella doesn't seem to fit the bill and I'd rather have Murray back as we know what we're getting - this fella is a gamble.

He's not slow! Not the most classy but defo not slow or with a worse touch than Campbell! And hes not exactly had a fun of 90minute games has he. He's a monster of a guy who could take a lot of attention from both CB's meaning gayle or another get a bit more space to be a danger. In French football he was pretty effective in a partnership scoring and assisting and considering we've had two strikers recently who've never scored as many as gomis in a top league I'd be happy to have him.

But then I'd be happier for Murray to get game time like Campbell has had
