In the other you want cpfc 2010 to behave exactly like a Goldberg/Jordan to deliver you with the signings you want, without considering the long term picture. I trust cpfc 2010 and thank Christ you're not in charge. It's egos like yours that saw our club almost die not long back. This and this alone anybody who says different doesn't have a business But almost everything we have seen, at Palace and at 90% of professional clubs, clearly shows that football does not follow the standard business model. The main motivation of most owners of football clubs is not profit - it is either genuine support or a vanity trip (personal or corporate). Of course the aim should be to run clubs on a sound business footing, but we are competing in a market where that is not the case.
