The Thatcher one could say

Look Maggie you're a bit older than I prefer but if you turn round I can imagine you're younger

Thatcher saying 'the lady is not for turning'.

One snatched milk from kids

the other milked on kid snatchs

Even I'm disturbed by that one.

Thatcher and Saville were good mates...

This is just wrong.

Like her or hate her....Agree with her ethics or not. Thatcher was a moral woman who didn't believe in harming children.

Thatcher does not deserve you associating her with a pedeophile just because you didn't like her politics.

Out of order.

Nick's usual implicit response.....Some journalist wrote something....It backs me up.

Anyone who even saw Saville could kind of tell that hardly anyone really knew him and that very few people were close to him......But no....Nick 'bull in a china shop' is allowed to type any crap he likes.

Just how many people knew Saville but didn't know he was a pedeophile? It must be tons. The connection you make with Thatcher is truly disgraceful.

It's implicit, 'you were his mate, so you're infected'

You are out of order but as you're on a keyboard you don't pay the price.

Its about judgement and the friends you keep - she loved Pinochet too

Shock, horror - politician knew someone in the public eye who was then unmasked as a criminal. Tony Blair was good mates with Cliff Richard - staying at his home in the Caribbean a number of times. If any allegations against him are proved to be correct you could do your 'nudge nudge wink wink' thing about him? Rolf Harris painted the queen - and they got on well. Uh oh.

She stole free milk from school children.

Thatcher the milk-snatcher

The milk was grim anyway.

True - 1/3rd of a pint that had been sitting in the sun for a couple of hours. Only those who never experienced it (in the 1950's anyway) could bemoan it's demise.

Made me chuckle - you are so right. It was full fat, warm and often curdled. Remember it? I still have nightmares about it!

I'm still unable to drink milk 'straight' - 40 years later, I still expect it to be warm, manky, and disgusting! - with a straw pushed through the foil lid.

We pay for our kids to have it, and they enjoy it immensely, as it comes out of tyhe fridge, nice and cold. If I end up with calcium deficiency, I will be blaming Maggie's forerunners for forcing it down me as a kid.

Harvey Proctor and Peter Morrison, both close to the Iron Lady, the first was convicted of sex offences against the underage, Morrison was allegedly cautioned for soliciting underage boys. Edwina Currie referred to Morrison as a pederast.

She also is on record as wanting to protect Peter Haymen, a senior diplomat who police had arrested for possession of obscene publications (and was a member of PIE).

Of course, Leon Britten is often rumoured to have been 'a nonse'.

Though my suspicion is that Thatcher was no more complicit or guilty than anyone else of that era is just overlooking 'predilictions' of pederasts.
