I agree with the principle of a young keeper like Woodman and developing them but we need a first team goalie too. I don't spend every waking moment slagging off Hennessy on here and would like nothing more than for him to be better than he is but he really isn't good enough, whether that's confidence or whatever he costs us points regularly or at the very least makes a worrying mistake that we get away with.

Now his agent claiming that we won't negotiate on the fee that Palace want. Surely this incidates the attitude, while being at the club.

We're a long way apart on the fee and if OM want him, they're going to have to meet our price. If not then he's under contract to us. I doubt that his future is top of SP's priority list and that this won't be resolved until a new manager has had a chance to review the situation.

Yes I agree, we do need a first team keeper of quality but from what I can remember Mandanda from his few first team appearances last season there was nothing outstanding in his performances, why would we want to keep paying his wages for him to sit on the bench or spend the season on a sick note with depression because he wants to go home!

To be fair we don't know all the details, but it does seem that there is a disagreement between us and OM over the price, and I haven't seen anything from Mandanda expressing his undying love for Palace.
