Spence v Crawford
This seems to have slipped under the radar.
the two current best undefeated welterweights about to kick-off for all the titles. Two fighters at the top of their game put in the same ring. Boxing might be onto something here . ,...

If only it was Spencer, it could be dubbed the 'Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em' clash.

What a really good fight. Not a great fight, by any stretch. But a Good fight that I'd almost forgotten that boxing could produce.

Whyte v AJ postponed!

Whyte’s tested positive for something.

It's really just a question of being dumb enough to get caught these days.
It was a totally pointless fight anyway.

Why don't the big boys just agree to fight each other at least two times each and then they can all retire.
We have already done Fury v Wilder 1, 2 and 3 and Joshua v Usyk 1 and 2, so let's get it on with Joshua v Fury and Joshua v Wilder, Fury v Usyk and Usyk v Wilder.

Loads of money, everybody happy.

Call me cynical. I'm inclined to think ticket and TV sales were pl55 poor and they had to think of a way of pulling the plug without losing too much face.

That is how 5hlt the heavyweight division is for getting the big fights on.

Managed to watch the Eubank Jr v Smith half asleep last night.
Smith got annihilated every round.

I expected that in the first fight, but Eubank was clearly not 100% that night.

Didn't see it but reports said Smith had hurt his ankle, or leg, or something?
Being cynical it sets up a decider and another payday for all involved.

Smith was very gracious in defeat. However, having watched the highlights, it is obvious to me that Smith had badly inhibited mobility, which massively impacted his performance. Credit to Smith for not making an issue of it for his defeat.

I think he kind of did in the after fight conference.

However, I do think it's actually true.

He spoke about cutting three stone as well affecting his energy levels....but I have less sympathy for that. It's his job to make weight and if he's ever more than a stone and a half overweight from his fighting weight then that's totally his fault.....they are called professionals for a reason.

Apparently according to a boxing journo Smith has two dodgy ankles and is often seen during fights doing some weird thing to click them into place.
To be fair to him he didn't use it as an excuse.
