Instead of Sky paying for TV rights, it would be the Saudi League paying Sky to show the matches. However, I get the feeling Bein sports are Saudi. BeIN is part of a Qatari media group.

BeIN is part of a Qatari media group. Yes, G. Neville took the Qatari shilling from BeIN during the World Cup, admirably overcoming his own moral principles so to do.

It already looks like going the way of the MLS or the Chinese Super League. No one, including the home fans, seem to give two f***s about it. And in potential TV audience places like Europe and USA most fans are openly hostile to it. James Tomkins will be there, taking the place of Neymar in two seasons.
