Apparently hardly anyone downloads music any more. It's all streaming these days. I personally haven't downloaded anything for a good 5 years or more. Aware that the iPod stopped being produced long ago, I just asked one of my daughters whether an Mp3 or Mp4 player could still be bought, and she basically laughed at me and called me "grandad". (In fact they CAN still be bought but they are few and far between).

only problem with streaming is you can save a favourite track, certain version etc & a few months later its been withdrawn / no longer available etc.
Its also not as comprehensive as they claim.
I've collected music for decades & definatly have many versions not available.
So if you download, you have it for as you require, just not as convenient as streaming.
