Indeed & I am not convinced that 25,000 of us singing at the ref "you dont know what your doing" actually helps the situation.

I'll make sure to make everyone stop next time so that the officials can think clearly and in total peace.

We don't seem to have the best opinion of VAR, judging by the singing.
There were loads of dodgy decisions for big sides today I believe, just reading between the lines on Soccer Saturday.

Yep, and a couple involved Andersen who was fortunate not to be booked.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

I just seen rashfords penalty win on match of the day.

How in the world is that a penalty? And how in the world do the pundits agree it's a penalty?

One word “Utd”
Anyone else think their second goal was offside. Surely Casemiro was offside in the build up and had to be interfering with play or am I missing something?

I know that VAR is not used for booking as this will just slow up the game however if that is a second booking like the Arsenal game surely it should be reviewed before sending a player off.

Isn't the point of VAR to stop the referee making significant errors that impact the game? I reckon Arsenal have a good chance of overturning the sending off on appeal in which case it should have been reviewed at the time.

I don’t think you can appeal a yellow card but you have a valid point regarding VAR intervening in contentious second yellows.
I see Mike Dean trying to backtrack on his comments now. Some awful decisions again in games over the weekend, anyone else think the standard of refereeing is worse than ever and making a mockery of the league?

From my humble perspective, it was a stonewall penalty.
There would have been much wailing and lamentation amongst our supporters if Rashford had been our player and a penalty had not been awarded.

That doesn't mean it was right.

Ones like that are routinely not awarded to us. It was similar to Eze against Brentford. Rashford's dive was even more obvious. A part of a defender's knee lightly brushed him. The dive included a little spin and dolphin flip - which was nice.
I couldn't help but feel that across the whole weekend, the big sides got the decisions. Cooper couldn't be bothered to even complain. We all know the score.

Indeed and Eze against Arsenal even more of a penalty imo. From the first 3 weeks it has been obvious which clubs are getting the decisions. Perhaps the powers that be don’t want the Brighton’s of this world taking their precious European places? With 5 CL places up for grabs they want the “big 6” to be fighting for them
