We have amassed 7 points from 4 matches with no VAR disasters.

The VAR are probably waiting for Liverpool.

When it comes, it will hurt.

I think the answer is that he was deemed to be offside from the original shot (rather than being in an offside position from the rebound caused by the save)

Another interesting one was Ayew’s disallowed goal against Sheffield Utd. Apparently a player cannot be deemed as offside if he reacts to a rebound from a save. This he most certainly did

VAR, yet another absolute howler again yesterday in the match Luton v Wolves.

Clearly not a penalty according to the current laws because of the change of trajectory aspect.

How can VAR, with the benefit of the replay, get this so wrong?!

VAR is just ruining our game and the enjoyment of it and with these horrendous errors seemingly happening in numerous games each week…what is the point?!

Hands way above his head, the penalty was the right decision.

NO, it wasn't, ball came off his thigh first & due to 'Trajectory Movement' that is a howler from VAR. Wrong decision(again)

You are wrong on 3 counts Willo - as was VAR.

1 - Proximity, 0.2 of a second
2 - Not an unnatural position when reaching at full stretch with your body.
3 - It doesn’t matter that the hands were above his head, the important thing is ‘change of trajectory’ and the current laws of the game state it can’t be a penalty when the change of trajectory comes off the same player. I would’ve thought you would’ve been aware of that Willo.

Stonewall penalty for Arsenal accidental or not if the ball hits a hand or arm that close to the goal with the ball goal bound, it’s a penalty…..whatever Gary Neville might be waffling on about

Tottenham will be spewing about Arsenal's penalty now too. Gary Neville's view was that it wouldn't be given but he had no idea what VAR would conclude. Sums up VAR really.

Yep, how that Arsenal one can be deemed not a penalty and yet the one incorrectly awarded at Luton was is just a joke. VAR and the use of it is an absolute joke and many could argue is getting worse rather than better!

I agree with you. My comment was about the uncertainty that VAR has created.

Bring back deliberate arm to ball - and no VAR.

The ref will make a mistake occasionally, but its better than this flawed time-consuming interference in play.

Oooh check now not complete and the referee going to the monitor.

What are they playing at?!
