It must be rubber-stamped, but we wan't to coordinate Roy's press conference with a formal release of news of the contract with remarks from Eze. Sky and others might just be waiting for these to put together one complete story. They might even have Eze's remarks and further details but have to wait until they're released by the club. I ain't got nuthin' funny to say. Sorry.

Obviously unlikely but there has to be a hope that he's an exception to the Champions League rules all idea. He's a south London lad who might be content to stay with his friends and family at a club where he is supported and respected - doesn't help much with other London clubs but might keep him from going up north. The £5m+ a year is a nice bonus too.
