Mate - he ain’t going to admit on live TV - that the new Manager was signed on Thursday and he had already taken over selection, formations and tactics - with Roy lying in his hospital bed..!!

Don’t be so naive - this is multi million pound(s) cut throat business - staying up is worth £M’s to the club - hence they’ve made the decision..!!

COYP

Is my opinion, too. Would be very much surprised, if OG had spent the time in London with rides on the London Eye instead of talking with people at the club.

Poor substitution Ahamada for Edouard, but Ozoh straight in to the fray.

Subs, late problems etc. but still a point Everton fans know it.

Everton strong physical egged on but we held them.

Another 3pts just slipped away , managing those last 10min of every game has seen plenty of points slip through our fingers like sand , it’s a point though the we desperately needed ahead of the Burnley home game , a point Roy would of taken

Disappointed to concede another late equaliser but on the whole a very improved away performance,We never looked like conceding in the first half and it was great not to see multiple pass backs to our keeper. If we had Eze and Olise we would have torn a poor Everton side apart! I think we went too defensive after we scored and looked worse after we took Edwuard off as defensively it made it easier for them as they only had Mateda to worry about.Thought Wharton looks a great buy and am now looking forward to the rest of the season as it looks like we will be playing more on the front foot.

Indeed.
He was certainly impressive in the first half but tired and was much less effective after Ayew scored.

I hoped for a point today and I am satisfied with the result.

Lots for Glasner to observe, Wharton was one of our best players again and has amazing vision, he slots straight into our team along with Muñoz even when everyone is fit.

We need to support mateta better up front and we need an outlet late in games, like Franca offered against Chelsea at times.

Ahamada doesn’t get many chances but I have to say I struggle to see what he offers besides fresh legs.

Sam Johnstone is one of the big 5 we have been missing. Welcome back sam

Fresh start now for Glasners red n blue army. Very much looking forward to the coming games.

Selhurst will be amazing next Saturday against Burnley : )

That was not RoyBall. According to the sky analysis it had OG all over it.

Must be true.

Will everyone start calling that OG Ball, then, I wonder?

Impressed with all our boys - not least Mateta who was a real handful and showed plenty of neat touches.

Good performance, too, from the returning Joel Ward.

Johnstone an upgrade despite the late goal. Not an easy play and Onana was sky-high. But Johnstone knows he could have done better.

The 3-4-2-1 suited us well, as we looked sharper box to box than we have in ages. Mitchell-Lerma-Wharton-Munoz formidable controlling the midfield.

Mateta played another fine game, but heavens is his fitness poor. He should jog 40-50 minutes every day this summer – build a base for stamina.

Happy for Ayew. Hope he'll try more shots like that in the weeks ahead.

I thought Ward was great. No nonsense but got his head on things, cleared the lines and showed leadership. We tired at the end and Everton had a stronger bench so a draw is a good result and a fair one. A lot of fight and character tonight. Keep playing like that and we should get more points on the board. On a side note I noticed Paddy was in communication with what looked like a 12-year-old boy on a laptop which was interesting. Ray looked like he was enjoying himself.

Onwards!

Nice post (although I quite like Ahamada in parts)

Can you imagine Palace starting a team including Ebs, MO, Johnstone, Andersen, Wharton, Munoz, Ayew, Guehi?

Blimey!

We were well worthy of the point and if we had taken all 3 Everton could not complain. You can see next season Decoure, Lerma and Wharton working well together. If we had our best 11 fit we would have thumped Everton….
