Too early to say to be fair.

Burnley were hardly a decent test, were they.

It'll be interesting to see how we do against Spurs. They pass so well and we'll have to do a lot of defending. let's see how we manage our game then and see if we manage to find that out-ball and how we transition, don't you think?

I can sort of see that, however Burnley are a team fighting for their survival and at no point in that match today did they look in control. When it comes to Spurs we’ve had a horrendous time against them last few years. If we can get anything out the game with the injury ridden team we have then Glasner is truly a miracle worker.

I'd be very surprised if we keep any of them, to be honest, wouldn't you, Stirling?

That's the worse case scenario, however it would give the new manager the biggest budget to create his side.

Personally I don't see all four going in one season break.

However, I'd be surprised if any of them are here beyond next season.

That said, it's not just them....We have aging players who also need replacing. For better or worse Palace is entering a new era and will look radically different.

Hold onto your hats.

Top clubs already recognize the quality of Olise, Eze, Guehi, and Doucoure, plus they have massive squads, so I don't think injury history will put any of them off.

They will also figure, maybe correctly, that mismanagement contributed to the injury history of Olise and Eze.

I think Olise is gone for sure, because of his release clause. Guehi also likely, as he's been linked for a while. I want all four, but if we only get to keep Eze and Doucoure, it would be ok. We'd get a fortune for Olise and Guehi, and I'd like to think we'd buy a couple good players to replace them. (Although no way we replace Olise's talent.)

Agree that we can’t replace Olise talent. But we haven’t had it this season, he’s played so few games.
If we kept him and he stayed fit, it would be like having a new player next year

Also think if Marc plays in the euros , he will go for big money.

Can't see anyone buying Doucoure cause he's been out for most of the season

Let's hope not and that he recovers well.

And let's hear it for VAR ... three calls that all went our way. It will be a long long time before that happens again!

Next season could well be without Guehi, Doucoure, Eze and Olise - so it’s good to see that we can play well without them.

If we are without those 4 we will have c.£200m to spend which with our latest incomers sounds very exciting. No lose situation.

It's possible that someone with two years on their contract could be sold, but there is no pressure to sell a player with more than that.

By that measure, Guhei and Andersen could be sold, but there would be no need to sell anyone else unless they club are offered a sum they can't refuse.

Not as good a game as Everton, but he was certainly not bad. Munoz isn’t really a traditional RB, and him and Ward in the same team seems to work fine.

Loved the way Munoz did a prayer with Ward at the start of thew second half. Andersen was kneeling to tie his laces so maybe Munoz thought kneeling was required!
Munoz is going to be a very good player for us.

Or if a player just wants to leave. It's difficult to do anything about if that's what they want, don't you think?

I don't think.

If you sign a contract, then you have to honour it.
Sure players can sulk and press for a move, but I don't think that will happen.

I doubt Eze will want to leave anyway, and Olise is so injury prone that I'll be surprised if anyone comes in for him at the kind of money we will want.
The club is trying to build something. We don't need to sell any more.

Fabulous!

3 goals, 3 points and a clean sheet.

Listened to commentary via club match centre so not best perspective, but Wharton got a lot of praise and sounded like we were caught offside too often. Needs fixing.

Ayew is a real powerhouse for us. How long can he go on without serious injury?

Sounded like Franca made a huge impact after coming on.

By all accounts Edouard was his usual hopeless self and I'd be surprised, nay annoyed, if Ollie starts him again.

Other results mostly went in our favour too.

Will definitely have an extra nip of whiskey tonight.

Spurs will be a different proposition, but we'll give them a good run for their money. Bring it on.

Edouard never plays as well when he is on the left. If he played in the middle instead of slow feet Mateta, he scores goals. As he did for Celtic and as he did for Vieira.
