As David Attenborough might put it..

"As we venture into the heart of the stadium, we embark on a quest to observe the elusive and sporadically sighted Nathanus Fergusonus Maximus Absentius or more commonly known as Nathan Ferguson. The keen football enthusiast must exhibit remarkable patience, as spotting this enigmatic creature playing a game is about as rare as finding a needle in a haystack or, in this case, a football pitch. It is thought that there are as few as one Nathan Ferguson left in the footballing world and following the extinction of its fellow Absentius Connor Wickham, physio's are working tirelessly, to keep it safe and protected from predatory strikers by keeping it monitored in various treatment rooms around Selhurst Park."

The trouble with computers, of course, is that they're very sophisticated idiots

If you must correct someone, do make sure you get it right. It's actually:

HAALAND.

Comfortable 3-0 to them

On to the next, we’d all rather beat the weed anyway

It's gonna be grim.

In reality the score will probably only be something like 3-1, but I can see this being the advent of a tactic even more negative than "parking the bus" - although not sure what that would be, but City to have 108% possession, 31 shots on target and 3,468 completed passes.

If the players that went off injured on Saturday don't recover and no-one else is fit to return then this would require the biggest miracle in PL football if we were to get a result. Third choice keeper with 5 minutes PL experience, a right back at left back, a central defender in midfield, a striker with 2 goals in over 30 games, one winger (if Olise is fit). If Haaland doesn't play though all the focus will probably be on that! It's at the point where I'd almost be tempted to just rest Olise and let Ebiowei or Franca get some experience, as what's the point in risking MO.

Man City 4-0 with Haaland, 2-0 without.

The joke is that's my thing when people who are pro-Hodgson say "Hodgson's job is to keep us up, nothing more."

I really wish we saw unpopular but logical tactics like that!

"We're on a hiding to nothing, Franca and the U23s all start, the first team can rest to focus on Brighton next week."

If only.

They will win but who knows by how many.
Pep likes Roy so when they go three up he might ask them take their collective feet of the pedal.
They are 7-1 on to win and we are 14-1 against - I thought our odds would be higher actually.
It could be a cricket score.

With one point in the last five games Roy will put out the strongest team he can, even if it means possibly risking players. I totally understand that even if personally I wonder if it's worth the risk.
