Or feel that their demands aren't being met in the peace talks so have resumed hostilities. If Hamas don't feel that they are going to gain anything (other than Gaza not being bombed anymore) from the peace process then I don't think they'll just give in.

In other news. I read a few pieces about the tunnels from Gaza leading to kindergardens over the past couple of weeks. Turns out it's probably cobblers...

Don't you feel that the firing of these rockets smacks of Hamas trying to hold onto power and showing continued scant regard for the safety of the Palestinian population? Hamas know what will happen when rockets are fired into Israel. It's denied of course but the sheer weight of commentary and criticism within this thread from the 'usual suspects' shows that....And this is just my view that if they were comparing between the IDF to Hamas they would prefer Hamas....Probably because they are the little guy fighting what they perceive to be the bully. Lets forget about the fact that Hamas's human rights record and ideology would make them choke on their cornflakes if they had to live one tenth of it......Between the two, if they had to live under the regimes, they would be all running off to Israel.
