No wind up. He is not a Pulis type player, everyone knows it, but he needs him for now. He criticised him for giving the ball away a lot, apparently, against Manure, when everyone else felt he was one of our best players bar that one tackle. Didn't single anyone else out and now announces he's fining him for a dive against Manure a week after the event when no one knows what incident he is talking about. No other manager bar Di Canio has taken any sort of public stance against his players and I would have no problem if he kept it in house.
Just the cynic in me, but I feel this is the start of the build up that will lead to him leaving and us ending up with someone like Crouch next season. If I'm wrong then I'll be happy.
Just watched weed vs Palace playoff again tonight so I might lighten up a bit later.

He certainly does. Good on Pulis. Hate getting points this way, there's no justification for doing it in my book. Remember Williams did the same at a home game v Bristol City in the last few mins when it was 0-0. We got the points but it left a bitter taste.

Can't deny that.
I saw our most successful ever spell under our Lord God Steve Coppell, but by the time he left I was totally hating long ball, percentage, aggressive football with a passion. In the early days with a poor defence, but Wright and Bright up front it was fun with 4-4 and 5-4 scorelines, but by the end you want to see some football being played. Ironically when SC left he changed his football philosophy and started playing more on the ground.
I honestly cannot abide to watch the type of s***e TP had them playing first half today and it actually made me angry. I'm not asking for total football or trying to outpass Arsenal, but some form of offence and players passing to each other not into large patches of vacant grass.
Sorry if that upsets some, but...........
