Er, no... but you're right about one thing. The general theme is that Thomas chucked away 3 points. Not what I saw. He threw a small chance of getting a goal had he shot earlier or passed to Jerome [who actually had no space to shoot]; but he was hardly one-on-one with the keeper.

I think your right about JT...I think he decided he couldn't get a shot off and decided quite late to try and go past the player, but got that wrong, he didn't really dive but when the guy made body contact lifted his feet... people need to remember that he has had very little play this winter, his overall contribution when he came on was pretty good though (I still think he is the best crosser of the ball we have, and with Murray back in the side that could be pretty important)

Think I'd have fined him for passing to Jerome! It would've sailed into the stands or he'd have missed it! Jokes aside, the touch to go passed the defender was fine, he had opened up space to shoot where as, hinting it first time would've taken something special to get pasty all the bodies. Going over like that though leaves a sour taste in the mouth and I don't wish to see it again.

Very good management to state this publically at this stage of the season. Referees will be watching and if it helps us get just one 50/50 decision in the box before the end of the season, because subconsciously the referee won't fear being duped by a dive, it could make the difference between us staying up or going down.

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

I reckon he though he was about to get a hefty body check and decided he didn't fancy that. So he decided his best choice was to leave the ground, make the hit milder and also get himself a penalty. Just not the right thing to do in a Pulis team, you stand up for yourself instead. Should have been strong and created more space for himself.

And the defender did very well to pull out at the last minute, it did look like he was going to check him. He didn't touch him at all in the end.

If the ref had awarded that as a Pen I would, of course take the goal as a fan but I would also happily say that it wasn't & I also doubt the ref would be officiating top flight again for a long while. I also think that Pulis would have said similar to what he did last night.

Murray's wasn't a penalty but I can understand why it was given as he ended up a good 6 feet into the box.

On a side note, I also think that if the last man brings down a striker with an open goal then you should be awarded a penalty regardless of inside/outside the box as in all probability you would have scored anyway.
