I'm not sure on Corbyn with the voters, I think he might have that 'Saunders / Trump / Farage' appeal with a lot of people. He'll either continue to do better than people in the know think, or completely tank it in a manner that would make the 1997 defeat of the Tories look gentle. I'm not sure people of a right wing bent tend to see how the labour party under Blair and Brown gutted itself to appeal to swing voters. Thing is, Corbyn will need to win back Scotland from the SNP to have a real chance of actually winning. And I don't see that happening. Edited by jamiemartin721 (19 Mar 2016 8.54pm)

Maybe it's a generational thing, but some of you really don't seem to realise how much support he's gaining. Dismissing him as a scruffy old man is lazy.

If that is true, how come Labour are doing so badly in Wales & Scotland, its traditional stomping ground and supposedly the most left wing places in the UK? You may superficially get a few nods of approval from the young in London but I don't think he as popular as you think.
