I'd like us to look in the German/French divisions for some bargains.

Totally agree lush ! There's some real quality German goalies we could get plus a load of good players ie: Karius gk for Mainz Sule huge CB for hoffenheim Rudy cm/rb for hoffenheim ( went to the World Cup with Germany I believe) Malli am/ winger at Mainz ( probably going to Dortmund) Most of these are realist options I think players doing well at similar level clubs

Great point willo was just going to say the same. Probably there best 4 players then bar drinkwater and vardy. I think foreign players are just hungrier than English because of what most go through growing up. Shows it Leicester every player has a point to prove, like they wernt good enough at a big club or want to make a name for themselves. Edited by Reynolds1986 (18 Apr 2016 9.56am)

I think we should be looking to keep a British and Irish core. Already we have a growing French speaking group of players; Cabaye and Souare aren't fluent English speakers and you'd imagine Adebayor, Sako and Chamakh generally prefer conversing in French. We don't want to end up like Newcastle. Don't really want to see that group get too large, certainly if Adebayor is still here. He seems the kind of character others will attach themselves to and maybe get distracted and further from the rest of the group. That's just my idea of what could happen and my assumptions of Adebayor based on what's been said of him before, I could be completely wrong. Edited by Mad4palace (18 Apr 2016 10.26am)

Remi Garde banned his A.Villa players from speaking in French in the dressing room.He wanted them all to speak English but requested that the English speaking players spoke slowly.

Unfortunately didn't work great for him. I wouldn't want to ban players from speaking their first language but it's worth taking into account how too many foreign players, especially those speaking the same language, might generally stick together and end up away from the rest of the group. When someone posted that argument or non-argument (no one knows) between Yannick and Sako, I noticed it was all the French speakers bar Chamakh in the room. How we've done it so far has been alright. Soaure was the only one to come to us with no English and no PL or Championship experience. Villa must have brought in 3 or 4 from Ligue 1. Edited by Mad4palace (18 Apr 2016 10.53am)

Edited by Reynolds1986 (18 Apr 2016 9.56am) Bit harsh on: Schmeicel (got from lower league) I do agree, there is also quality elsewhere. Of course there is. Be nice to look closer to home first though.
