A Crystal Palace XI ran out 1-0 winners at Cray Wanderers in their latest pre-season friendly.
With the first team squad preparing for the new season in Spain, a young side that included a more senior ANDY DORMAN, were victorious at Hayes Lane.
Forward Kwesi Appiah netted what proved to be the only goal of the game from the penalty spot after 25 minutes.
The 21 year old latched onto a Ibra Sekajja throughball but was felled by a Cray defender in the area for a spot kick. Appiah's effort was saved, but fortunately for the Eagles, he tucked away the rebound.
Palace are next in action when they visit Park View Road to play Welling United on Saturday.
Palace XI: Fitzsimmons, Wynter (Akuruka), Daniel, Holland, Taylor (Chambers), DORMAN, Fenwick, Sow (Carney), Cadogan, Sekajja, Appiah.
