Team news

Lennie Lawrence and CURTIS FLEMING will take charge of the side for the clash against division leaders Leicester following Dougie Freedman's exit to Bolton.

Wilfried Zaha and Dean Moxey are back in the squad after serving one-match bans in the midweek draw at Barnsley. Jonathan Parr is likely to keep his place at left-back after an impressive performance, while Jonathan Williams could return after being rested.

David Goodwillie returned to parent club Blackburn last week after failing to settle in London. Paddy McCarthy is still out with his groin injury.

Leicester defender Ritchie De Laet and top scorer David Nugent face fitness tests after picking up knocks in the midweek win over Brighton. Defender Sean St Ledger is out with a hamstring injury.

Quotes

Nigel Pearson

"After the draw at Birmingham it was important to get maximum points from this match against Brighton and the Crystal Palace game coming up on Saturday.

"They are both tough matches and this league is pretty relentless. So all credit to the players. They have worked hard in games and on the training ground, to get us to where we are at the moment."

Peter Ramage

"We fear nobody in this league and results have shown throughout the season that anybody can beat anybody. We go to Leicester full of confidence, go and do what we do best, and hopefully we can get a positive result.

"The fans really are brilliant and hopefully they can keep being our 12th man and hopefully we can repay their faith.

"They've been unbelievable. A Tuesday night with a four to five hour journey to Barnsley and the same back, it's dedication.

"The players and staff appreciate all their time and effort and hard-earned money that they spent to come and watch us there."
