Neil Shipperley scored on his return to Selhurst Park to give Sheffield United a 3-2 win over Crystal Palace.
United stole the lead in the 15th minute, when after a strong run from Steve Kabba, he cut the ball back to Phil Jagielka to score in off the post.
On the stroke of half-time, Michael Hughes headed home Marco Reich's cross to level the scores.
But seconds later, winger Paul Ifill restored United's lead in stoppage time.
In the 56th minute, Shipperley made it 3-1 with a headed finish, despite furious protests from GABOR KIRALY who felt the ball had not crossed the line.
Dougie Freedman netted from the penalty spot five minutes from time after David Unsworth fouled Emmerson Boyce, but the Eagles ran out of time.
Palace: KIRALY, Ward, Hall, Boyce, Soares, Watson (McAnuff 69), Hughes, Reich, Borrowdale (Andrews 78), Freedman, Morrison.
Not Used: Hudson, Leigertwood, Speroni.
