Crystal Palace striker Clinton Morrison will be fit for Saturday's game with Crewe Alexandra after suffering a heavy blow to his jaw against Leicester City last Friday, by Stuart Pink.

The Republic of Ireland international accidentally collided with Foxes' keeper Paul Henderson in a clash described by Iain Dowie as "massively GBH" and had to be withdrawn at half time.

But Palace physio Paul Caton revealed Morrison will be available for selection.

"Clinton is OK," said Caton. He got a bag in the jaw and although he was quite dazed by it, it was not a head injury.

"We've checked him out and he will be ready to play."

One player who won't take part on Saturday is Aki Riihilahti, who suffered a calf strain in training on Monday. The injury is also likely to rule the Finnish midfielder out of the Easter Monday game against Burnley.

But there's encouraging news for defender TONY POPOVIC. The Australian suffered back problems on the trip up to Leicester which gradually got worse nearer the game. Caton has given him a 50/50 chance of making the Easter fixtures.

Jobi McAnuff picked up a knock on his ankle against Leicester but is expected to be fit in time but Wayne Andrews is definitely out with an abdominal problem.

Caton admits Andrews may need surgery if it is hernia related.
