I know that the intention was for them to be reused in future games as they were supposed to make an appearance for the West Ham game and then for the rest of the season, but thinking about it I might of just assumed that people would take them home and bring them to each game.

I think that's what the idea was, that you took them home and then brought them to the next game. I’m attaching the two messages sent on social medias before the game for anyone who’s interested. The idea is for the flags to stay at selhurst. The steward referenced on here was acting in good faith and the flags are intended to be used in the same way to lift the atmosphere for as long as they last (years). Hopefully we didn’t lose too many and people understand the memo and bring them back rather than keep them in their houses.
