Very good signing 4-2-3-1 would be perfect Lerma and Doucoure would do a decent job.

I cannot recall the precise details but he was banned for a few games and received a sizeable fine for biting a player in this country a few years ago. Eddie Howe played him in a deeper role, but when Jason Tindall was manager at Bournemouth he moved him into a more advanced position.

To be fair, he's a decent player, knows the league. And on a free would be great business. Cant pretend I'd be dead excited about it though... But deffo a squad upgrade on Luka, Jairo etc

I would not be getting a J.Lerma tattoo or even his name on the back of a shirt however I'd fully endorse his signing for the reasons you've stated Robbo.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Click bait says about 9 PL clubs are after him. As we don't seem to compete with other PL clubs for players I doubt this will happen.

One thing in our favour is that the other teams tracking him aren't great. I don't see him going to Leeds, Leicester or Everton. West Ham are l crap but he could well go there. My only logic really is that he will want to stay southern and go to someone with a bit of ambition. The way we've been playing recently could attract players and we're higher up the table than most looking for Lerma. He's a decent player. Not brilliant but better than most of what we've got.

I saw him play for Colombia against Venezuela in Tampa a few years ago in the 'Game of Brotherhood ' friendly. He was booked.

Can you imagine Lerma and Milivojevic in the same midfield? There'd be yellow cards every 10 minutes.

Saw an article today (can't remember where) which stated that Lerma was looking to move abroad, with offers coming in from the continent.
