my faith in piper has officially diminished, firstly how would anyone with inside knowledge say that dowie shouldn't be considered and that he has no charisma, i reckon he's been living on educated guesses, just look at what he says its all so bloody cryptic, sorry piper but you were having us on.

Yeah piper, tell us something to restore your reputation!!

I'm in shock. Kember has been sacked? I honestly didn't see this coming. He deserved a full season IMO.

When did this happen? Who will our new manager be?
What is Steve Kember doing now?

Its sad in a way that he has gone after all the years he has spent at the club,he has been a good servant to Palace, but he hasn't got the makings of a good manager. It a pity that SJ couldn't find a place in the back room staff for him so that he could remain at the club in another capacity. The club needs a management team who has the drive and wants to suceed, and make our beloved club strong again and to get us back into the premiership where we belong.
Yes, it will be hard, but I still think we could make the playoffs this year.

And who scoffed at this brilliant prediction when it was first posted?

My bet is on Iain Dowie to get the job, im really amazed that this has happend to poor old Kember boy though..

Diddums - Maybe Dowie will get us in the play off's this year with a massive turn around

Doubt it, I reckon Kit Symons will get the job

I think Alan Smith alongside Trevor Francis will be good.
We can play 10 0 0
