Anyone remember just before Liverpool that Chris Sutton said he was a bit worried for us in respect of relegation?!

Nice one Chris!

For the record I do like Chris Sutton. A lot of people don't but he is one that doesn't sit on the fence, which I like.

I think most Palace fans were worried at one stage.
I guess that we have put that in the past so quickly is an indication of just how much of a turnaround a new manager, players returning after injury and a couple of grreat signings has achieved.

Yes I agree, I for one was very worried and am very grateful for the expertise of OG and his coaching team, its amazing that it only took him circa 5/6 games to get them playing in this exciting and skilful way it is truly amazing and brings us all a lot of hope for next season if only we can keep this team together. My calculation says that the recent run has doubled our EPL place
prize money for a 10th place finish (£31m) versus 15th (£15.5m).
Enjoy the summer break you all deserve it!

It’s probably already been said but I thought Daniel Munoz was immense yesterday. His energy, enthusiasm and skill blew me away and he needs to be included with Olise, Eze, Mateta, and Wharton as a key ingredient in our recent meteoric improvement.

Anderson was also fantasic but so was everyone to be fair.

I'm loving the use of the word "tonking" in the headline at the top of the page!

(The HOL home page, I mean).

That'll be chock full of surprises with maverick Gareth.

Pugh, Pugh, Barney McGrew, Cuthbert, Dibble and Grubb

He always is, he’s so consistent, so unselfish as well, the amount of times he gets into the box and puts a low cross over is unreal and is a real weapon. One day he’s going to let rip himself and get himself on the scoresheet

I’m going to say this and some might think I’m a bit cuckoo, but apart from a few games from Ashley Cole, I haven’t enjoyed watching a full/wing back at palace like this since Kenny Sansom

We were rubbish, just above the trap door, and every team we had to play were above us in the league so his comment was not unjustified.

I was listening to R5 Live in the car just before the Liverpool game. Unanimously, the pundits all felt for Palace on the basis that we were certain to be battered (that very word was used).

For the record, I did not disagree . I thought we had enough to stay up (because those below us were REALLY bad) but Liverpool would steam roller us.

Who knew?

Dean Henderson's wonderful "second assist" moves me to commend his fine play overall in our closing run. As someone who was critical of him early on, now I've got to admit he was a wise purchase. Without him, after Sam Johnstone went down we never would have finished the season so gloriously.

I certainly don't think that.

It was great to see a goalkeeper who can throw the ball to the half way line accurately and quickly. It's something which has gone out of the game in the last few years.
