I am still bemused why the police are even getting involved in this or why it is even a matter of any public concern other than these 3 women should be pulled up by social services the minute they set foot back in blighty for placing their children in obvious harm by taken them willingly into a war zone. Oh and in the case of this 'grooming' - why do this utter stupidity even get entertained ? Edited by The Sash (22 Jun 2015 10.49am)

I'd argue the police should be involved, as potentially 9 UK citizens were abducted by these three mothers, and taken to a hostile country against their will, and if possible the UK may need to rescue those children or otherwise protect them as UK citizens held hostage against their will. F**k the three mothers, they're legally capable of making decisions and willingly did this. Those other 9, are my concern here.

Said they couldn't cope with police surveillance. Well maybe they should blame that on their brother instead of taking their kids to join him. If they ever get back to the UK, they'll be under it for life now. I'd love it if the police issued a basic statement in return saying "like f*** did we groom them."
