It does what it says on the tin....... it covers the Palace "stories" from 1907 to now.

There are loads of articles from all decades including the 80's.

Sash - yeah it's good reliving the big games by re-reading the reports.

I remember the early to mid 1980s as a rather bleak period at the Palace before Sir Steve started working his magic.

Alan Mullery, escaping relegation by a whisker (ironically against Burnley) last day of the season 82-83, a similar close escape the following year, attendances down to 5,000.

Just stumbled across this, excellent stuff mate. That report against Portsmouth in 84, my brother was mascot, met the players with him before hand. Portsmouth were the top team, and still remember the noise they made. But like palace in them days,we always played up against the big teams, and got the result. Will be having another look at this soon.
