Transfer market in general is very quiet, despite click bait sites trying to get interest.

When a club cant even replace ageing players with some new blood or get a loan to cover a long term injury it seems a bit restrictive to me . The big clubs pay inflated fees for players that hardly get a sniff of the first team which means we have to pay inflated fees for players we need . Yet it is the smaller clubs that end up with points deductions . I really do hope that City and Chelsea get hammered when their time comes ,they have killed the market.

Its all very well having FFP if its fair . When a club cant even replace ageing players with some new blood or get a loan to cover a long term injury it seems a bit restrictive to me .

The big clubs pay inflated fees for players that hardly get a sniff of the first team which means we have to pay inflated fees for players we need . We're in the slightly bizarre situation of simultaneously not being able to afford to bring any players in but, also, to not be able to afford not to. Clearly the owners hoped Roy would muddle through and they could save their pennies for the next poor sod to spend but now we're struggling so badly that they don't really have much choice. We're in the slightly bizarre situation of simultaneously not being able to afford to bring any players in but, also, to not be able to afford not to.

Clearly the owners hoped Roy would muddle through and they could save their pennies for the next poor sod to spend but now we're struggling so badly that they don't really have much choice.

If we don't bring in anybody then it's dereliction of duty.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

That’s exactly the reason why we shouldn’t get to know about any deal until it happens and is why everything posted here as inside information should be taken with a pinch of salt.

Only positive so far this month - it looks like Ghana may be heading out of the AFCON despite Jordan Ayew scoring two goals today, so there’s a chance he’ll be back and in the team for the Sheffield United game.

(Don’t say it don’t say it don’t say it) it’s like having a new signing!
