Funny enough, worth staying as we have certainly been more attacking in the second half. Shame we had a mad 5 mins at the end of the first half! Like Franca…he has brought the game alive and actually created a few chances.

To be fair I'm pretty sure nobody on here has said we are 4-0 down all because of TM. People are rightly pointing out that he's been very poor today. Something that's becoming quite common in my opinion. Howe clearly identified him as a weak link and Newcastle exploited it. I wasn’t stating that too literally kblf, was more a general observation about how us thwarting another goal at 4-0 down was the only positive comment. A poor, non event for any Palace fan. I hope it’s the anomaly that does occasionally occur and not the theme for the run up to Xmas.

Newcastle came at us from the start today and clearly deserved the win. We didn’t help ourselves obviously. Move on to the next one. Positives: Poor result but I actually feel optimistic looking forwards An England win tonight will cheer me up And RIP to Bobby Charlton
