But seriously, how can anyone say they are "gutted" after we sign an icon of football, on a pay as you play basis? Name me another Palace player who has featured recently in Nike adverts? Every away team player will be after his shirt, name me the last palace player who was asked for his shirt at the end of a game?? some people are just so negative, bask in the joy of something good and exciting happening to our non fashionable and humble club! I for one is bloody over the moon!!

Still seriously pissed from the oval todday, so I will keep it brief. Having just watched the video on Palace player and hearing Davids talking about Wright and Bright and that the move came about from him being messaged on Twitter when we were in admin - and also George Burley's comments on the club, I could not be happier right now. Davids is a true modern day footballing icon and if he is even 50% of the player he was, he will still be the best player in this division. I am sure a fair few people will be at the game on Saturday who wouldn't have been - and that is fine. Some people need a prompt. I'm feeling very positive indeed.
