Re. some of the earlier posts.

This was a long time ago but think Terry Fenwick scored the winner in the FA Youth Cup Final against Everton in 79?

Also, didn't see Jamie Fullarton play that much but a boxing day game against Southampton 1997 when Zohar missed a pen remember thinking what a poor player he was.

At the expense of sounding like a scratched record would have Dave Madden around the best 11 rather than worst.

Yeah, Jeff Hopkin. He scored two brilliant og's one for the 'wall and one for Swindon in the play off semi. Both from 25 yards.

Can someone please name the forward I can't remember the name of? Early 90's don't think he ever scored at home but cored in the FA Cup 3-4 defeat at Paort Vale....I was there but never saw his goal in the fog.

yeah bought him for one and a bit million alongside a cheap half a mill buy from barnet.....dougie freedman.

Gareth Taylor??

That's the bloke.
Thanks for putting me out of my misery ;-d
I obviously tried so hard to put him out of my memory - and it worked

This was my first time at Selhurst Park and was actually in 1977. They won it again the following year and Fenwick scored the winner again against Aston Villa at Highbury. Can't think why now but that years final was only one leg on neutral ground.

A five year old child could do this! Somebody fetch me a five year old child.

There was a chap called Suckling who played in goal for us when we got beat 9 - 0 at Liverpool. I am not sure if he was one of the worse because a lot of people said it was not his fault. Anybody know whose fault it was?.

Craig Harrison and Gary borrowdale. Between the 2 of them they could not make one half decent player.

Maybe I just don't like left backs

Perry Sucking was a fine goalie for us in the two seasons leading up to promotion in 1989 yet he is remembered for one lousy game and is dismissed as crap by some. He wasn't.

Quote Kosowski at 25 May 2011 9.36pm

Having just been watching Dorman playing for Wales (and I use the term 'playing' in the loosest possible sense), it got me wondering if I could come up with the worst Palace team I've ever seen. So here is my attempt:

Akinbiyi...........Kuqi............Wayne Andrews

Obika............Dorman...........Fullarton

Frampton....Zohar....Ismael....Sagi Burton

......................Miller.....................

Bench: Digby, Flinders, Macken, McKenzie, Ward, Brolin, Leigertwood

Shocking team. Feel free to do better (or worse as it may be).

Obika's joined BHA today.

TeeHee.

THe joke at the time was:
Q: What have Palace's goalie and Michael Jackson got in common?
A: They both wear gloves for no apparent reason.

Mick Hill was pretty dire in the 70's.

He was given the number 9 shirt but that was his only resemblance to a centre forward.
