just randomly flicking through this thread and prince comes up loads of times , seen him 6 or 7 times and always brilliant , but I did think the last lot of shows at the O2 were a bit pony , too many medleys and s***e cover versions

interviewer " iggy , do you think you influenced anybody?"
iggy pop " I think I wiped out the 60`S "

Rammstein at Wembley February 2010.

Such a mad show they put on. I actually think it's such a spectacle you almost don't have to like their music.

Plus they were supported by another favourite band, Combichrist. Mind blowing concert. Saw them again at the o2 2 or 3 years later. Was actually a better show for Rammstein but the support wasn't anywhere near as good.

Saw them at the O2 about 4 years ago, absolutely the best entertainment I can remember.

Nektar and Manfred Mann's Earthband at the Greyhound (later Orchid Ballroom). Sensational Alex Harvey Band at Fairfield.

Muse at the Emirates.

Here and Now underneath the Westway doing free gigs and handing out cakes.

Knebworth September 1978.

The Tubes

Frank Zappa

Peter Gabriel

Boontown Rats

Wilko Johnson

Rockpile feat Dave Edmunds and Nick Lowe.

Great Day. Smallish crowd.

The Tubes put on the best stage show I have ever seen.

Oasis at the old Wembley in 2000, it was the penultimate gig at Wembley before they knocked it down and it was mind blowing!!

I was at the last ever Stonehenge festival before it was banned. For some unknown reason I can't remember who played but I am told I had a good time :-)

Jim Capaldi Tribute Concert. Dear Mr Fantasy the songs of Jim Capaldi & Traffic Featuring Steve Winwood, Joe Walsh, Pete Townsend, Jon Lord, Gary Moore, Yosuf Islam, Paul Weller, Bill Wyman, Simon Kirke and others. A very emotional night. Compered by Bob Harris and available on CD & DVD.

One of my best ever too. A very hot day in May I seem to recall. One of Bad Co's first ever gigs in this country. I have a poor quality DVD of the The Who's set which was broadcast on TV I believe.

Montrose
Bad Company
Maggie Bell
Lindisfarne
Lou Reed
Humble Pie

THE WHO
