Does anyone remember when it was? I remember very nearly doing it against Forest some years back when we scored a last minute pen which then had to retaken (and was then missed, Julian Gray I think) . Can remember blowing a 3 goal lead to Peterborough in the cup over 2 legs a good while back - but struggling to remember a previous comebacks from 0-3...?

Well there once was a game against Reading at Selhurst in the 1947/48 season when I believe we went behind 3 - 0 but its so long ago I'm not rally sure. Reading's striker McPhee got at least a brace and things were looking real sad for us but then I think Freddie Kurz got one for us and we were back in the game and sure enough we made it 3 - 3. I do remember clearly the level of nail biting excitement for us nippers which I think has only ever been matched by our recovery against Lpool last monday. Anyway after 70 years supporting The Palace there are indeed many happy memories of excruciating anguish and glee at Selhurst as The Palace struggled for a winner or a draw!!..

I seem to recall we did in a 3-3 draw at home against Luton Town in the mid 1970s when we had just got out of the old 3rd Division. I remember it was an exciting match and we were trailing at 1- 3 but can't be 100% that we did not score before their third goal.

I think the 3-3 was on a Boxing Day in the late 70s but I cannot recall if we came back from 3-0 down.

Didn't we come back from 3-1 down at Walsall and won 4-3 with an AJ hat trick

Did we come back against Coventry couple of years back at SP an evening game

2-0 down and came back to win 3-2...or have got it all wrong.

I would be right though in thinking that being 3-0 down with a dozen minutes left of normal time and getting a draw was unprecedented?

I think this was when they went 1-0 up from a 40 yard lob, and then Scannel and Easter scored in extra time to win 2-1? May be a different game

We were 2-0 down in that game and came back to go 4-2 up before a late Burnley goal left us all biting our nails. Wilf was on fire that day.

Yes, 2-0 down early on, then AJ hit an incredible left foot volley on the run for 2-1 at half time. More kamikaze defending made it 3-1, then AJ scored a near-post header from a corner. Then Freedman equalised when he got a rebound from an AJ shot, and then last minute Tommy Black broke away and fed AJ who slid it home for 4-3. Amazing win and a brilliant hat-trick - 3 days after the more famous Brighton one. But in my view man of the match at Walsall was Kolinko who kept the 10 goals they should have had down to only 3.

BlindEagle, the Complete Record says we won that game 2-1. 46/7 we also beat them 2-1 and 48/9 it was 0-1. It says we drew 2-2 with them in 1945-6 and Kurz got 2 in that game. Have the intervening 70 years taken their toll? I go back to 1962 and can't remember any other recoveries from 0-3 down.

Coming back from 3-0 down, to draw, with 12 minutes to go, for CP who were favourites for relegation, against LIVERPOOL who were favourites for League Champions, in what must have been the single most crucial game to secure the title, after never having won a LC in the EPL, is unprecedented anywhere and frigging AWESOME!

There should be a movie made about this season.

I live in Adelaide Australia, and it's been on the TV!

Something good is happening at Selhurst. The supporters deserve it. I could never desert CP like many of my Croydon mates did for Totts Ass n all etc(but can't blame them). Maybe they'll come back?
