Many, many years ago I heard he had gone to the USA but I don't know if he is still there.He must be in his 70s now !

I remember as a kid bucking up the courage to knock on his door for his autograph. He used to live on Bromley common down the road next to the bus garage.Nice bloke.

A really accomplished full back whose career was ruined by a George Best horror tackle against Fulham

oh , yes got mixed up there , i remember now
that it was horrific and totally out of order especially as they were former team mates at Liverpool. Happened right in from of me in the Arthur .

I saw him play for California Surf in '78 while on a school exchange trip. Couldn't believe I had traveled all the way to California and watched an Ex-Palace player. I also seem to remember Phil Holder playing for the opposition.
