I disagree that the music celebrated at the MOBO's is over represented. I don't think, for example, that African music is over represented in this country.

If you wish to go and set up an awards programme for the likes of Status Quo, Cliff, Uf***ing2, REb******M and Steps, then be my guest but don't televise it, as it will be s***.

I think another tangent from this thread is simply how self indulgent and contrived music awards ceremonies are these days. It's seemingly all about self praise and political backslapping. Oh for the days of the Smash Hits Poll Winners' Party.
