Vote for Reform. Change has to start somewhere. Labour might sweep in this time, but they are going to win no matter what. Neither main party deserves a vote. If we don't vote for change and sow the seeds for the future, then we will never get it. It might be futile to expect any politician to keep their word, but our only power is our numbers. We need to use that while we still can.

My mum used to kick us all out at 16 - which also seems unreal now. It's not that kids are necessarily lazy, they wouldn't be able to afford anything anyhow. The difference in house affordability vs wages is probably unbridgeable. Perhaps communism would sort it. But I guess that f***s me with my spare room - I'd get a family of workers or two, or a bullet or two in the head. In fact, it's almost definitely the latter for me as I'd be problematic. I think it is suffice to say that Labour are not anymore interested in the basic issues than the Tories so it will never be sorted without something radical. And that won't be reform either. Politics was always a con but it's also just a joke now. The normal person is disenfranchised. The people who think they gain are actually losing but are too complacent to see it.

No, Reform are not the answer, even if you agree their policies. We have had almost 5 years of the Brexit right of the Tories in charge and what a shambles. To have the worst elements of that governing us is unthinkable. Insufficiently competent to run the world's 5th economy. You'd be nostalgic for Truss. Similarly the Greens. I am with them on a lot but as prudent stewards of the national purse? Protest party, like Reform, and nothing more. The Lib Dems have actually shrunk since Clegg and offer only a coalition bulwark against the loony right of the Tories or equally loony left of Labour. I will vote. I always do. But..?

Reform might not be a magic fix, but change has to start somewhere.
